Information we collect

• Account information such as email address, display name, profile picture, and role selection like parent or kid.
• Chore data such as chore titles, notes, recurring settings, reminders, due labels, completion status, and points-goal details.
• Family linking data such as parent-child linking codes and linked account relationships.
• Technical and security data such as device information, IP address, and server logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use information

• Provide account login, family linking, chore syncing, reminders, and points-goal tracking.
• Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
• Protect ChoreNest against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers that help operate ChoreNest, such as hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, analytics, and payment providers, or when required by law.

Children

ChoreNest may be used by kids only under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for the accounts they link and the information they enter on behalf of a child.

Data retention

We keep account and chore data for as long as the account remains active, unless a longer retention period is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or payment-related recordkeeping.
